The SOEP is an ongoing annual repeat-survey of Germans, foreign nationals and immigrants in East and West Germany. The sample collected in 2004 encompasses more than 12,000 households with almost 24,000 individuals.
Emphasis will be household-composition, purchase and family biographies, buying participation and occupational mobility, income-trends, health and life-satisfaction.
The SOEP-Dataset will be distributed in SPSS, SAS, Stata and ASCII formats. Extensive documentation is also available in German and English.
