On 27 and 28 May 2005 the 1st conference of SFB649 "Macroeconomic Risk and Policy Responses" took place in Berlin . The conference was hosted in collaboration with the Deutsche Bundesbank and the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR/MAPMU). The organizers were Heinz Herrmann, Deutsche Bundesbank , and Harald Uhlig, coordinator of the SFB649 and Humboldt-University Berlin .
